The Elizabeth Taylor Suite is a one-bedroom suite overlooking the central courtyard. While the Hotel Paisano was originally built with 65 single rooms and did not offer suites, Elizabeth Taylor did occupy the corner room that comprises a portion of the suite that bears her name today.
The king-sized bed has a pillow-top mattress and is situated in a spacious bedroom with full tiled bath, plush towels, Archive-brand toiletries, hairdryer and French doors opening to a standing balcony overlooking the central courtyard. The sights and sounds of the fountain area below and twinkling stars above promise a relaxing stay fit for a star.
The living/dining area offers a queen-sized sleeper-sofa for extra guests and an additional set of French doors opening to another standing balcony overlooking the central courtyard and fountain area. The efficiency kitchen is bright and cheery.
Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the property.
This suite is located on the second floor. There is not an elevator on the property.
“The hotel is beautifully designed and decorated … wonderful courtyard with plenty of seating around the fountain to sit and enjoy the weather. The national landmark hotel was used as a home away and headquarters for the cast and crew of the film GIANT in 1955.”
“We stayed in the Elizabeth Taylor room and it was terrific. Bar and restaurant are the best. Kudos to management who allowed us to view rooms before selecting. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!”
