The Rock Hudson Suite includes a large rooftop terrace that faces south and west. The terrace is furnished with outdoor dining and sitting areas. This is a perfect spot for cocktail and dinner parties, watching the sunset and gazing at the stars.
While the Hotel Paisano was originally built with 65 single rooms and did not offer suites, Rock Hudson did occupy the corner room, directly across from Elizabeth Taylor, while they were in Marfa for the 1955 filming of GIANT. Three rooms were eventually combined into what is now the largest suite available at the Hotel Paisano.
This suite offers an elevated bedroom with one king-sized bed with a pillow-top mattress, a full bath and an adjoining brick sun-room that opens to the large rooftop terrace. The living area includes an efficiency kitchen and a spacious living/dining area with powder room, queen-sized sleeper-sofa, wet bar, brick fireplace and two sets of French doors opening to the rooftop terrace.

This suite is located on the second floor. There is not an elevator on the property.
