All the staff are super helpful and friendly. Such a wonderful historical lodge with modern amenities but keeps the charm. Restaurant could use some help and was a little disappointing but overall the place is fantastic.

I had a really pleasant stay here with my family last weekend. The historic property was relatively well maintained, aside from some cosmetic defects in our room. You can’t beat the place for the charm though! Staff members were all supremely friendly. My only legitimate complaint is that, in our first-floor room, the sounds of floorboards creaking as our upstairs neighbors walked around were surprisingly loud—loud enough to wake both my toddler son and my wife at different times! I realize that there’s little for management to do about that, but if you’re a light sleeper, it might be something to consider before booking. Overall though, I’d happily go back—and at some point I probably will!

Fun, quaint hotel in charming town. The hotel was purchased not long ago and has undergone some renovation. Nicely redone rooms and bathrooms. This was our second time to stay at The Lodge. Recommended.
